The local Flora

Here we are at the farm again so thought I'd show some of our local wild plants and flowers as well as cultivated ones. Below is some very high wild grass with some lovely green moss growing in it and lower to the ground.

Red gravillia
This is actually a bottlebrush tree but the seed pods look like clams to me so I call it the clam tree.
More moss and ground cover in one of our rainforest areas.

A pink dahlia in our garden. This one the wallabies missed. I looked out the window one day not too long ago to find the wallaby picking the flowers one at a time and eating them. He was so cute but I like the clour we get if they leave them long enough.

Red gavillia again.

A very pretty white flower but I do not know what it is called.

The palm nuts from one of our palm trees.
The palm tree itself.
