Birds of a feather

With fresh seed out in the bird feeder we get many feathered friends. The Galahs are bigger than the Lorikeets but the Rainbow Lorikeets are the bullies of the bird world.





Bullies or not they sure are beautiful.

The Galahs wait patiently for their turn.


A young Galah....you can tell as his pink colouring is still partially gray.

A rare treat to see these endangeroured birds here, they are Yellowed tailed Black Cockatoos.
They also have a yellow patch on their cheeks.
Such a pleasure to see them.
