A Horse is a horse of course of course.....

A horse is a horse, unless it is a donkey... this lovely lady is Suki because she is big sook. She is 17 1/2 hands high and as gentle as a lamb. She is a Thoroughbred and used to race but she basically went at a trot as her heart was not in the racing so the owners sold her. She is only about 9 so she should have a good long time yet on our little bit of heaven.

This is Lady she is an Arabian and she has a lovely personality but just doesn't like to be riden....so we don't. She is around the same age as Suki 9 but only about 14 hands high.

And here is our pride and joy, Nastradamis or Nasty for short but he is far from being nasty. He loves people and loves to be hand fed....anything.

Da boss man: Flame, he is around 8 and is a gelded quarter horse but he loves his little harem.

Lady, Suki, and Nasty

Nasty....he is soooooooooooo cute, I just love him to bits, as I do the others but he is around 30 and can live to be close to 50. We got him as a companion for an old horse we had called Satelite but about 3 weeks after we got Nasty Satelite died of old age, he was 33 and we miss him. We want to get another donkey to keep Nasty company as the other horses have allocated him to the bottom of the pecking order. Horses are actually afraid of donkeys as their braying is so different from the sounds of the horses.
