This is a Willy Wagtail sitting quietly enjoying the view until he noticed the camera buff.
Away he goes.
Not too far though... can you find him in this picture?
Back again to his perch.
Craig liked the symmetry of the fencing and the effect of it in the photo. Plus there is a small wren in the very centre of the picture, third log up from the bottom right over the eye in the log. He blends in very well don't you think?
Below are some of our more frequent visitors to the farm, especially as we put out bird seed which they love to eat as well. This is the Dad.
Mom with a baby in her pouch the above and below pictures are the same wallaby.
Here is one of our free range peacocks, his name is Boyo....well all three are called the same thing since we can't tell the difference between them.
Below are two of our Silky-bantam crosses. The females name is Salt and the boy is JR junior. Both are very friendly unless they make the great escape and then they run like crazy. Unfortunately at this point we cannot have free range chickens as there are too many predators in the area from kwolls, foxes, wild cats, to dingos. So until we are here on a permanent basis they must be safely housed.
